Volunteers

Pleasanton Library and Recreation has many volunteer opportunities in library, civic arts, human services, environmental education and sports.

  • For teens, the library offers seasonal volunteer roles. The summer teen volunteer program is currently full, but check out the City of Pleasanton volunteer site for other opportunities!
  • For adults looking for an opportunity to be part of a life-changing program, the library is always looking for volunteer tutors in the Pleasanton Reads Adult Literacy Program.
  • The Friends of the Pleasanton Library organization has many volunteer opportunities for teens and adults year-round.
