Camps
Summer Day Camps
Summer Day Camps, held at the Amador Recreation Center, includes Seekers for youth ages 6-8 years old and Explorers for 9-12 years old youth. These camps are held weekly during June-August from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Participants will engage in activities centered around play including crafts, sports and games, swimming trips to the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center and one off-site excursion (SkyZone, Pump It Up, Boomers, or Aqua Adventures).
Teen Camp
As participants grow older, so does their summer day camp experience. For participants in middle school (12-14 years old), either entering or exiting, the summer camp program includes two off-site excursions and participation in a service project. Teens will also visit the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center twice a week. For the moments while they are on site teens can be found doing crafts, sports and games.
Examples of excursions teen camp has gone to in the past are Boomers, SkyZone, movie theaters, bowling and the Dublin Wave.
Examples of service projects have been spreading mulching or park clean-ups throughout our parks or East Bay Regional Parks to help our local outdoor green spaces, buddy program with younger campers, making boat boxes for younger kids, volunteering at Kids Against Hunger or Fertile Groundworks in Livermore.

Attendees will think of elaborate and comical ways for characters of the improv troupe to “kick the bucket” one by one, as well as guess which character is the culprit.
Middle School Pool Party
Typically the last Friday in July, middle school students are invited to the Middle School Pool Party at the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center. It’s one last dive to hang out with their friends before school starts. There they will have access to both the pools on the west side of the facility which includes the slide and diving boards. Additionally at the event, attendees will have the opportunity to play games to win prizes. Registration, includes the above and a pizza dinner, drinks and desserts. This event is for those entering 6th through 9th grade (those exiting their 8th grade year.)
