The City of Pleasanton is seeking residents interested in participating in their community by serving on a variety of commissions and committees that oversee specific areas and make recommendations to the City Council.
The City is currently accepting applications until 4:00 p.m. on August 26, 2024 for the following commissions and committees: Civic Arts Commission, Energy and the Environment Commission, Economic Vitality Committee, Human Services Commission, Library Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Youth Commission, and Altamont Education Advisory Board.
Applicants must reside within Pleasanton city limits (except for the Economic Vitality Committee and the Altamont Education Advisory Board). Terms vary for each of the commissions and committees, though they are typically four-year terms with a two-term maximum.
