The City of Pleasanton’s FREE Community Education Series continues with What Kids Wish Their Parents Knew presented by Teen Esteem on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30PM at the Pleasanton Public Library, located at 400 Old Bernal Ave.
How many times have you wondered what your kids are thinking? This presentation is for parents who want to better understand how to relate to their kids through their formative years.
Teen Esteem speakers are young adults who are passionate about helping young people navigate the many challenges that face them every day. This workshop will provide cutting edge information on the threats facing kids and offer solutions on how parents can help their children navigate these challenges.
For over twenty years, Teen Esteem has built their network to be able to stay on the forefront of issues facing today’s teens and their parents. Leveraging the support provided via these relationships helps facilitate Teen Esteem’s consistent and unique position as a comprehensive resource for education on matters related to the wellbeing of our adolescents, teens, and their families.
The event is FREE and registration is recommended. Go to pleasantonfun.com and enter course code #61124. The Community Education Series was developed by the Community Services staff in conjunction with the Pleasanton Youth Commission to meet the goals of the Youth Master Plan.
