Pleasanton Police Investigating Juvenile Stabbing Incident

On September 2, 2024, at around 2:55 p.m., the Pleasanton Police Department responded to a report of a car crash and several individuals were seen fleeing the scene. Following a thorough search, including assistance from the East Bay Regional Parks helicopter, officers located the driver, who had a stab wound to the torso. The injured juvenile had been involved in an altercation with another juvenile prior to the crash, and a knife was recovered from the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he received treatment and was released.

This incident appears to be isolated, as the initial investigation suggests that the suspect is known to the victim, and there is no indication of a wider threat.
