Planning Commission

The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations regarding development plan submittals and advises the City Council on land use matters including zoning issues, use permits, variances and site plans.

Regular Meetings are typically held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 200 Old Bernal Ave., with some exceptions due to holidays or recess.


Submit Written Public Comment

To submit a written public comment, please email the project manager listed on the related staff report. Comments will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on the day of the Planning Commission meeting.

Public participation: It is requested that members of the public wishing to address the Planning Commission submit a speaker card. When public comment is opened on an agenda item, individuals may speak once per agenda item. 

In Person:

  • Submit a physical speaker card to the recording secretary at the meeting. When your name is called, please provide a comment at the podium.
