Support Local Guide
Building on the success of Pleasanton’s Holiday Gift Guide, this year we’re launching a refreshed Support Local Guide that highlights businesses not only during the holidays but all year long. The guide connects residents with Pleasanton shopping, dining, services, and experiences. The guide will be mailed to 34,000 Tri-Valley households, shared digitally, and available at City facilities. Ad space is available in full, half, and quarter-page options at competitive rates. Space is limited.

Small Business Saturday
The holiday shopping season kicks off after Thanksgiving with Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Small Business Saturday in between—one of the busiest times of the year for retailers. Small Business Saturday is a dedicated day to support small businesses and recognize the entrepreneurial spirit that drives them.
Pleasanton is home to more than 3,350 small businesses, which collectively employ over 32,000 people. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or using local services, your support makes a difference. Save the date for Saturday, November 29, 2025, and celebrate the businesses that help make our community thrive!
Pleasanton Business Anniversary Recognition
Annually, the City of Pleasanton recognizes Pleasanton-based businesses celebrating milestone anniversaries. We – as an organization and a community – recognize the caliber and commitment of our businesses and their contribution to the quality of life enjoyed in Pleasanton through the goods and services they provide our community and the residents they employ. Milestone anniversaries for 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 years are recognized each year in the fall/winter.
