Small Business Saturday
The holiday shopping season kicks off in November after Thanksgiving from Black Friday to Cyber Monday, with “Small Business Saturday” in between and is one of the busiest times of the year for retailers. “Small Business Saturday” is a day to support small businesses and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of small business owners.
The City of Pleasanton has over 3,350 small business proprietors that employ more than 32,000 people collectively. We encourage all Pleasanton residents and visitors to support our small business community by shopping, dining or accessing the services of a small business in Pleasanton on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
2024 Pleasanton Holiday Gift Guide
Get ready for the holiday season! The 2024 Pleasanton Holiday Gift Guide is coming in the December Your Town Monthly and will feature retail, restaurants, personal service providers, fitness studios, and entertainment businesses from Pleasanton. This guide will be mailed to over 34,000 households in the Tri-Valley area and will also have a digital version to maximize multimedia reach and online visibility. Plus, 1,500 standalone copies will be distributed at city facilities and other public locations throughout the holiday season.

Pleasanton Business Anniversary Recognition
Annually, the City of Pleasanton recognizes Pleasanton-based businesses celebrating milestone anniversaries. We – as an organization and a community – recognize the caliber and commitment of our businesses and their contribution to the quality of life enjoyed in Pleasanton through the goods and services they provide our community and the residents they employ. Milestone anniversaries for 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 years are recognized each year in the fall/winter.
