Julie Testa was first elected to the Pleasanton City Council in November 2018 and re-elected in November 2022. She has been a Pleasanton resident for more than 34 years. Councilmember Testa has a lengthy history of civic participation within the community, including 11 years of service as a Human Services Commissioner and as a board member for Tri-Valley REACH and the Tri-Valley chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Councilmember Testa currently serves on multiple City and regional subcommittees, including the Alameda County Liaison Committee, Dublin San Ramon Services District Liaison Committee, Alameda County Fair Liaison Committee, Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, Tri-Valley Transportation Council, i-Gate and Innovation Tri-Valley Boards, and City Legislative Advocacy Council Subcommittee.
Councilmember Testa is a small business owner with her husband Nick.
