Beginning June 1, join the Pleasanton Public Library’s 2024 Summer Reading Program, “Read, Renew, Repeat.” Readers are encouraged to explore ways to preserve the planet and save our ecological future.

How to Participate

  • Sign up in person at the Pleasanton Public Library starting June 1, and read throughout the summer. The program ends on August 4.
  • Earn rewards – and collect raffle tickets for chances to win cool prizes! Raffle tickets are available to redeem starting June 8!
  • When you visit the library, volunteer Summer Reading Advocates will be ready to help you sign-up and start playing the reading games.
  • All ages are welcome! There are games for Babies (0-2), Children (3-12), Teens (13-17), Adults (18+).
  • Each participant may play the Summer Reading game one time.

Read for a Chance to Win Fantastic Prizes

  • Get a free book just for signing up, and for every 5 hours read, you can earn a reward and a raffle ticket.
  • Use raffle tickets to enter drawings for prizes like a Playstation 5 Slim console, HiBoy Electric Scooter (must be 18+ to win), family membership to the Oakland Zoo…and much more!
