Gingerbread Preschool is an inclusive, PLAY based program that supports children where they are socially and emotionally. We prepare children for kindergarten through purposeful PLAY and a progressive academic curriculum with our passionate teachers.

2024 – 25 School Year Information
Gingerbread Preschool has over a 50-year history in the Pleasanton Community. Our program offers part-time preschool classes for children 2 – 5 years old.
Registration for the 2024-25 school year opens on April 3, 2024 at 8 a.m. at www.pleasantonfun.com.

Class Descriptions
My Grown Up and Me
My Grown Up & Me is a fun classroom experience designed to help the child achieve new milestones and promote development. This class is designed to encourage multi-sensory experiences to stimulate language, socialization, creativity and independence in your child. Child must have a parent/guardian with them in the class.
2-year old Class
The 2’s class is designed to provide a warm supportive environment for you child’s first classroom experience. Children are encouraged to explore, create and learn. We inspire our 2’s to discover new abilities in art, music, literature and language development through PLAY!
3-year old Class
The 3’s class presents a learning environment designed to help promote your child’s growth and development while we LEARN THROUGH PLAY. Our teachers will focus on communication (language development), creativity (a variety of mediums) and social/emotional growth (building on resilience and relationships). We balance light academic learning with socialization and lots of fun to inspire a love of learning. Children must be toilet proficient.
4-year old Class
Our teachers provide a hands-on learning environment that encourages preschoolers’ natural curiosity to learn through curriculum that builds confidence and resilience in a PLAY environment. We incorporate a perfect balance of academics and play focusing on pre-reading, pre-writing and math skills along with art, music and the skills of communication, collaboration and problem-solving. Our goal is to give our 4’s a full year of social-emotional growth in developmentally appropriate classroom routines. Children must be toilet trained.
Enrichment Classes
Our classes are developed to help children learn to solve programs, think strategically and to love learning! Class offerings vary per season.
Summer Camps
Camp Ptown Discoverers provides preschool age youth with hands-on fun as they experience arts, crafts, songs and stories that will inspire creativity, curiosity and the development of social skills.
Summer camps are offered weekly June – July.
